What do I do if my car is not on the list provided?

If your car is not listed please ring 01 6791330 and we may still be able to provide a competitive quote.

Are personal details disclosed to third parties?

We do not disclose ANY information to unknown third parties, see our privacy policy on our About page. Only the insurance company YOU choose will get your details after you buy (see below).

Do all the insurance companies get to see my details?

No your details are only passed to the insurance company of YOUR choice when you request cover. To buy a policy you will be asked for your name & address and preferred payment method and this information will only be passed to the company you choose. See also our privacy policy on our About page.

When can I get a policy?

How do I pay?

When you have chosen which quotation you wish to accept you will be asked for your name & address and be offered a choice of payment methods acceptable to the company you choose. This could be by credit card, cheque or direct debit.

Are there any extra charges to the customer?

No, XYZ Demo Brokers does not charge the customer, our aim is to save you money.

What insurance companies are offering quotes?

At present Allianz, AXA, Zurich, Hibernian Aviva and Royal Sun Alliance.
Other companies will be added as they make their rates available.

How long will it take to get a quote?

Between 3 and 10 minutes. Most of the easy to answer questions are mandatory and the answers are selected from drop down lists. Please note that you can return at any time and recover your details using your personal reference number.

Is the site directly linked to the insurance companies?

The site is not directly linked to the insurance companies' systems. The rules and rates used to generate quotations are maintained in a rule based rating engine. This means that the comparative quotations do not take long to generate and are available 24 hours a day.

Why aren't all the questions in one big form?

The questions are separated into 'pages' so that your information is checked and saved each time you finish a page. Problems are thus identified early in the process. This also gives you the freedom to submit all your details in one session or in several shorter sessions.

Will you insure motorbikes?

At this point we cannot provide motorbike insurance but we may do so in the future.

I cannot find my occupation listed, what should I do?

We have to work from an Insurance Industry standard list of occupations. Sometimes the modern description of a job is not in the list, i.e 'Software Engineer' is not listed, 'Computer Programmer' is listed. Try to think what your job might have been called a few years ago. You can enter the first letter of your occupation to jump to that position on the list.
